A very warm good evening to everyone.
It gives me immense pleasure and pride to present the Annual Report of IIT Campus School& Junior College, highlighting the significant achievements and activities of the academic year 2025 - 2026.
At the outset, I express my sincere gratitude to our chief guest Prof. .Neela Natraj, Dean Strategy IIT Bombay, Guest of honour Prof. Upendra V. Bhandarkar, Dean ACR IIT Bombay & Committee members for sparing their valuable time from their busy schedule and gracing the program today. I would also like to express our sincere thanks to the authorities of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for their constant encouragement and support to the school.

Academic excellence continues to remain the hallmark of our institution. Our students have once again demonstrated outstanding performance in the SSC and HSC Board Examinations this year.

E. ACE Real Padamsee :
In our continuous endeavour to nurture confident and expressive learners, IIT Campus School introduced the Academy of Creative Expression (ACE) program, designed by Raell Padamsee. This initiative has been particularly impactful for our first-generation learners, providing them with a structured platform to develop communication skills, self-expression, and confidence.
The ACE program focuses on experiential learning through activities such as role play, storytelling, theatre techniques, and public speaking. These methods have helped students overcome hesitation, build stage presence, and articulate their thoughts with clarity.
A remarkable transformation was witnessed during the culmination program, where students showcased their enhanced confidence, improved language skills, and expressive abilities. Their performances reflected not only their learning but also their growing self-belief and enthusiasm.
The program has proven to be a significant step towards holistic development, empowering our students to communicate effectively and face future challenges with confidence. We sincerely appreciate the efforts of the ACE trainers and our dedicated teachers who have guided the students throughout this journey.

Our students actively participated in various inter-school competitions including quiz, debate, sports, cultural events, and academic contests. I am proud to mention that our students have brought several prizes and accolades, proving their talents beyond the classroom.

Holistic development is a key focus of our institution. Students have shown remarkable participation in Cubs and Bulbul activities, learning values of discipline, teamwork, leadership and social responsibility.

H. Golden Jubilee Celebrations
This year has been particularly special for IIT Campus School & Junior College as we celebrated our Golden Jubilee year, marking fifty glorious years of dedicated service in the field of education.
Several memorable programs were organized as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, including cultural events, academic seminars, alumni interactions and student activities. These events reflected the rich legacy and vibrant spirit of our institution.
The Golden Jubilee Celebrations have begun from July 2025 and we have conducted school FEST for 4 days wherein 136 schools from across Mumbai participated School FEST was from 12th November to 15th November 2025. For the first time students from primary section also participated in school FEST.

It is a matter of great pride for our institution to highlight the remarkable achievements of our respected Principal .
She was honoured with the prestigious Institute Excellence Award by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for her commendable service on Republic Day,recognising her outstanding leadership and contribution to the institution by giving a commendation certificate with cash award of 15000.
She also received the Best Principal Award from Bhandup Medicos for her dedication towards holistic education and student development.
In recognition of her efforts towards environmental awareness and sustainable practices, she was conferred with the Sustainability Superstar Award among 85 Schools in Mumbai.
Her excellent work was further acknowledged by the Education Inspector of S Ward, appreciating her consistent efforts in maintaining high standards of education.
Adding to these accolades, the school was recognised by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for achieving a 100% result in both SSC and HSC examinations.
These achievements reflect her visionary leadership, tireless dedication, and commitment to excellence in holistic education.

Worked as Judge / examiner for Homi Bhabha Junior Scientist Exam (Std VI)
Designed Inter School Science Quize competition with Quize master IIT PHD scholar Mr. Rishikesh Jadhav & Guided students Master Adarsh Giri (X) & Ms. Ananya Tiwari (XII) won consolation prize.
In Hindi Pakhwada, he won 3rd prize in Hindi translation and Hindi general knowledge and question answer competition.
He was instrumental in judging 145 projects along with senior curator of Nehru Science Center, Worli for SWAMI PLUS LPP Venture organised for Std VIII to Std XII at Abhudaya Hall, kalachowki on 7th December 2025.
He was core co-ordinator for evaluation of Science Maths project in “S” Ward Science exhibition held at Cosmos High School, Bhandup from 9th to 11th December 2025.
He got 1st prize in “Vigilance Day Awareness” essay competition in IIT staff category organised by IIT Bombay. ( recived cash prize of 10,000/-Rs.)
Ms. Varsh Kosta:
Won 2nd prize in Hindi essay writing , 3rd prize in Hindi translation & Consolation prize in Hindi Note & letter drafting.
Participated in children’s literature conference organised by /madhya Pradesh sahitya academi in NTTTI, Bhopal
As an anchor worked with maharshtra Hindi sahitya academi to organised a talk show reflecting contribution of woman in the development of nation on account of women’s day 2026.
I. Expoure Camp :
Last 3 years we have counducted expoure camp for Teaching & Non - Teaching Staff
For facilitating bonding & Coordination among the staff for enhancing the output to the working system and to bring up personality and confidance among them.
School life is incomplete without celebrations. This year, we celebrated:
1. International Yoga Day – is celebrated on 21st June 2025
2. School Foundation Day –
School Foundation Day was celebrated on 29th June 2025. This year we are celebrated golden jubilee.
3. World Population Day :- World Population is celebrated 11th July 2025.
4. Van mahotsav – Van mahotsav is celebrated on 26th July 2025 along with IITB.
5. Independence Day – celebrated on 15h August, 2025
6. National Sports Day - National Sports Day is celebrated on 29th August, 2025
7. ‘S’ Ward Science Exhibition Competition - Our school proudly participated in the Mumbai ‘S’ Ward Science Exhibition held at Cosmos High School, Bhandup
8. Teachers’ Day– Teachers Day is celebrated on 5th September 2025.
9. National Mathematics Day - The National Mathematics Day celebration on 22nd December proved to be a successful and enriching experience, nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence among young learners.
10. Swachhata Pakhwada 2025:- On account of Swachhata Pakhwada school conducted Drawing & essay writing competitions in the school.
11. Hindi Pakhwada 2025 – On account of Hindi Pakhwada school conducted competition in our school as on 14th sep. To 30th sep. 2025
12. Inter house IT Project Competition -
13. Children’s Day – 14th November 2025
14th Nov. 2025 was celebrated as ‘Children’s Day’ and we organized games and magic shows in the Convocation Hall and it was open for IIT campus school
14. Constitution Day –
On 26th November 2026 ‘Constitution Day’ was celebrated. Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh, Excutive Enginear of ONGC was the chief guest he impatrted the importat of consititution and created awareness about the fundamental rights of the each and every cizien of India.
J. Events & Activities:

2. Good touch & Bad Touch counselling session was counducted by primary section by Mrs. Anita Atgamkar
3. Medical chekup was counducted in the month of January by Dr. Swapnali and Team.
4. Inspire Award :- The school actively participated in the INSPIRE Award program, encouraging students to develop innovative ideas and scientific thinking. Teacher In-charge Mr.Ashish Patil (TGT - Science) & Mr. Shivam Singh (TGT-Science) Mast. Rupesh Bhoir qualified for the Distric level.
5 . Al tool based learning was done for Std VII to Std IX on 9th ,10th & 11th Feb2026, for improing english language by educational technology department IITB. Mr. Debarshi Nath PHD scholar.

6. Cubs & Bulbul camp was counducted to emphasise discipline ,Oral hygeine and importants of sports in life. Dr. Reshma Tipnis of IIT Hospital & Ms. Sarita Mishra of K.G. School wear the guests
7. Workshop on Healthy food habits and nutrition was counducted by Go Sharpner team in the month of December2025.
8. Wild life awarness program was counducted to creae awareness about conservation of natural resources and wild life in August 2025.
9. Bird waching is done by VI std students along with IIT group in the month of December 2025.
10. Meditation for Teachers is counducted by Registrar IIT Bombay in January 2026 and he suggested and agreed to send the teachers to Kanha Shanti Van At Hyderabad soon.
11. Matrubhasaha diwas nad Marthi Diwas was celebrated on 27th Feburay in the school.
12. National Science day was celebrated on 28th Febuary 2026.
K. Retirement :-
Ms. Shubhangi Batwal, Sr. Trained Graduate Teacher (SST) , retired after 35 years, 2 months.
Ms. Geeta Shewde, Sr. Trained Graduate Teacher (Maths ), will be retireing on 31st March 2026 after completing 32 years of sincere service.
The journey of IIT Campus School has been enriched by the continued dedicated service of these employees. We are thankful to them and we take this opportunity to wish them and their families a very happy, healthy and peaceful retired life!
